Extractions

A tooth extraction is a minor surgical procedure. Therefore, it is natural that temporary changes will occur in the mouth after this procedure. However, Dr. Singleton follows some simple rules to help promote healing, prevent complications, and make you comfortable.

Why do wisdom teeth often need to be extracted?

Wisdom teeth that are healthy and correctly positioned in the mouth can benefit the mouth, however, most often this is not the case. Many problems arise that require these teeth to be removed. For example, when the jaw is not large enough to accommodate these teeth, they may become impacted. Schedule an appointment today with Dr. Singleton to learn more about your wisdom teeth or to schedule a tooth extraction.
