Dental Implants

Dental Implants are permanent replacements for missing teeth.  An implant is actually comprised of three parts: the implant, the abutment, and the crown.  The implant is surgically placed into your jawbone, under your gums.  A natural looking crown is attached to the implant via the abutment to restore full chewing function and to complete your smile.

An implant can be used to replace a single missing tooth or multiple implants can be used to replace many missing teeth.  Implants can even be used to secure removable dentures which typically have a hard time staying in place while eating or speaking.

Dental implants look, function, and feel like healthy, natural teeth.  Caring for them is as easy and as important as caring for natural teeth with routine brushing, flossing and regular check-ups.
